Mission Statement
The mission of Ballston Spa Pop Warner is to enable our children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, our program promotes and teaches fundamental values, skills, and knowledge that our children will use for the rest of their lives.
Objectives
To teach our participants the values of teamwork, dedication, and a positive work ethic both in the classroom and in competition.
To ensure a safe and positive playing environment for ALL participants.
Positive Experience For All Participants
Ballston Spa Pop Warner has no tryouts and does not make roster cuts.
All children participate under National Pop Warner mandatory play rules.
Individual performance awards are given only for academic excellence and not for athletic ability.
Safe Playing Environment
All volunteers are required by National Pop Warner to have background checks.
All coaches and commissioners are required to attend yearly clinics.
All football players are matched by National Pop Warner age and weight limits.
All cheerleaders are matched by National Pop Warner age limits.
